Happy Jack would like to hear what you think about the band and to exchange ideas on how to improve it. On this page, we'll share some of the comments we've received via e-mail. In some cases, we may also respond to the comments. Please get in touch! ========================================================== 5/14/01 Andre I believe I told you this on Friday but Happy Jack was fantastic. Your reception was almost like being at a soccer match, the crowd were roaring you on after, and during, every number. The whole Tribute show gave me great satisfaction and was as exciting as anything I've ever promoted, even Operation Big Beat 40 years ago with ....you know who. Well done !! We will be seeing a lot of each other and I'm planning more shows which you will be an integral part of. Best regards and thanks again. Sam. ========================================================== 5/14/01 I wrote a while back, and you said that you guys were taping a show. I'd really like to get a copy. Kenny from K.C. ++++++++++ Hi Kenny, We just did a "brilliant" show last week in Chicago and we hope to get a copy of the show on video, then you'll be the proud owner of a copy. HJ ========================================================== 5/12/01 Hi guys I'm in Newmarket Ontario Canada, just a 45 min drive north of Toronto. I in the 80's saw an amazing tribute to the Who called Wholigans. They had it down pat. The guitar player jumped around and they just sounded like the Who. I've never seen your band but since i know someone in Chicago i may make it your way oneday. I too am a pete Townshend guitar nut and have been wanting to set up my own Who tribute band for a while. It's hard to find good players willing to play the Who these days! Would you guys mind telling me how you play the keyboard parts to Won't get Fooled? I've been messing around for years and have not found that sound or a keyboard that comes close. Chris the.sindreys@sympatico.ca ++++++++++ Hi, Thanks for the e-mail. We have always struggled with the synth part in WGFA and Baba. We've gone through several keyboard players and only one of them came close...I'm not a technical person so I can't tell you how he did it, but we've also experimented with lifting portions of the actual synth of the Who's Next CD and editing the synth parts together...and eventaully played along with it. Good luck finding musicians! HJ ========================================================== 5/12/01 Do you know yet where you're playing on July 11-16 ? I'm coming in from California and would like to see you guys again. Thanks. ____ Neil ++++++++++ Hi Neil, We don't have any shows booked for those dates yet, but keep checking our website for updates...we'll post them as soon as we book them. HJ
